VTEX is an e-commerce platform that assists well-known brands like Carrefour and Samsung in managing their entire digital business, from catalog to storefront updates.
VTEX had a significant challenge of ensuring that clients updated their stores as frequently as needed without losing quality.
Releases would allow businesses to manage the updates and changes they make to their online store and to easily track and organize the different versions.
Before releases, products would go live with the wrong price or poorly set up promotions — negatively impacting conversions. As a result, our clients' businesses lost credibility.
After several user interviews and benchmark it was clear that users could use multiple views for their stores' future.
The preview was a product itself. It should run speed checks on the version — both developers and business users would see the same information.
Releases MPV was used by three clients from different tiers. The tool would directly impact on user's workflow as a fluid quality assurance tool.
